Kate is a founding member of Savant, South Africa’s only dedicated hardware technology incubator. She holds a doctorate in Clinical Laboratory Medicine and an MBA, with expertise spanning IP management, venture capital, private equity, and corporate governance.
She is skilled in equity research, corporate finance, valuation, and investment strategy, and brings over two decades of experience in technology commercialisation. Kate is passionate about helping science and engineering ventures scale and succeed in local and international markets, taking African-developed technologies to the world.
